Hello! Long time, no blog. I hope you haven't all gone away... Anyway, I'm here. I've been busy and stressed with school, so I haven't been taking the time to blog like I usually do. Honestly, lots of things have fallen by the wayside of late. I haven't been exercising regularly, my voice practice routine is all over, and I don't feel like I'm as on top of housework or homework as I'd like to be. And it's not as though there aren't plenty of hours in the day for me to get it all done, I'm just not mentally organized enough. I think it should get better, though, since one of my biggest stressors (unemployment) will hopefully be resolved by the end of the week if everything works out.
Meanwhile, I'm really loving the fall weather here. The trees are turning red and orange and gold, the nights are crisp, and the days are pleasantly cool. It's nothing at all like fall in California! We've made a few journeys further inland to pick up furniture for the house (we're working on the basement and the guest room now) and things are even more colorful there, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
I've taken to trying to wear more fall colors than usual, inspired by the weather. Autumn shades and I have never really gotten along well, but I'm hoping for some sort of truce for the remainder of October.
